SAI works to address the root causes of vulnerability by focusing on: Re-integrating street-connected and school dropout children into schools, families, and communities, Empowering families to become stable, supportive, and self-reliant. Identifying and supporting families at risk before children fall into street life or drop out of school, Promoting children’s psycho-social well-being, confidence, and social development.
CORE APPROACH
Shine Again Initiative: Unlock potential of children and youth in Africa Shine Again Initiative works through a holistic three-level approach: 1. Child Level: Education, protection, confidence building, 2. Family Level: Economic empowerment and parenting capacity, 3. Community Level: Awareness, engagement, and child protection.
