The Shine Again Young People’s Adventure is a unique program designed to give students and young graduates opportunities to explore, learn, and celebrate Rwanda’s beauty while building skills, income, and connections.
Purpose and Vision
• Support young graduates, especially in tourism and hospitality, by offering internships, volunteer roles, and small income opportunities.
• Create unforgettable learning journeys for schools and students, both national and international, where they enjoy, explore, and grow together.
• Use trips as a platform to share Shine Again Initiative’s story, inspire participants, and connect with potential sponsors.
• Generate income to sustain Shine Again’s programs, including Kura Neza Child Program, Aguka Parent
Empowerment Program, and Inkuru y’Ubushuti Program – Adventure Destinations Across Rwanda
Participants will visit Rwanda’s most iconic sites, such as:
• Volcanoes National Park – gorillas and breathtaking mountain landscapes.
• Akagera National Park – home of the Big Five and savannah wildlife.
• Nyungwe National Park – rainforest, canopy walk, and primates.
• Lake Kivu – leisure, water activities, and lakeside community life.
• Kigali Trails and Highlights:
o Mount Kigali Trail – hiking with scenic city and countryside views.
o Rebero and Nyamirambo Trails – blending nature, culture, and local experiences.
o Kigali Genocide Memorial – remembrance and lessons of resilience.
o Campaign Against Genocide Museum – history of courage and liberation.
o Kimironko Market – cultural immersion and community interaction.
• Ethnographic Museum in Huye – Rwandan history and culture.
• King’s Palace in Nyanza – heritage and leadership traditions.
Role for Young Graduates
The program will:
