About Founder

Justin Mugabo, the founder of Shine Again Initiative, is a 32-year-old teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship in Education from KP University. Over the past nine years, he has volunteered with various organizations dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families in Rwanda. Before starting the Shine Again Initiative, he worked as an English teacher at Cricket Builds Hope, where he encountered street children around the Gahanga Center. This experience inspired him to help them and give them hope for a brighter future.

Justin’s connection to these children is deeply personal. He grew up in a vulnerable family and faced significant challenges accessing education, food, clothing, and shelter. With the support of others, he overcame these hardships and is now committed to giving back to those in need. He understands the struggles of vulnerable children, many of whom suffer in isolation without anyone to care for them. His mission is to provide support and make a difference in their lives.
