Niyonizeye Solange
Co-Founder & Educational Development Manager
Solange has been passionate about supporting children from a very young age. In primary school, she began bringing street children to her mother’s home, earning the affectionate title of “Mother” from many. She studied Economics and Entrepreneurship in Education and has experience teaching Science at G.S. Gahanga 1 and working with Cricket Builds Hope. Driven by her love for children, she adopted two children living in difficult circumstances.
Solange met Justin, her high school classmate, through the Youth Ambassador Club, where they supported children from underprivileged families by collecting school materials from the community. Their shared dedication to children became the foundation for founding Shine Again Initiative. Solange enjoys spending time with children, offering guidance in tough situations, and seeking opportunities to support her community. Her dream is to establish a school that supports children with special cases.
